1 Ton Chain Hoist
This heavy duty chain hoist has a 10 ft. drop and can lift up to 2000 lbs. If you have the ceiling height, this provides really nice access to suspension for people, cages, etc. And it sounds great when the chain moves through the pulleys. Total weight is 24 lbs.
Suspension bars and other gear sold separately.

Works perfect even with a low ceiling

You need at least 10' preferably more to totally suspend someone. I have the standard 8' ceilings and use it all the time. All you need to do is be creative with your sub and it's totally usable. Suspend his feet or hog-tie him. Lots of possibilities. I also have an electric hoist but prefer this hoist because of it's looks & sound in my dungeon. Nothing gives the feeling of apprehension like chain!

For any effective and safe use of this or any other similar hoist you need at least 12 feet between the floor and the hoist mechanism itself.
