These are quality: the metal snap hook is sturdy hardware, and the leather is thick and double-riveted. If you're supporting the legs at the calves, for lying on your back in a sling, I find the Deluxe Leather Sling Straps a nice upgrade because they are wider. However, these are IDEAL when attached to an overhead chain and used at the ankles to suspend the legs up. It's easy to slip the foot in and out, and each comfortably supports the weight of the leg from an ankle suspension point: wraps automatically around just the right parts of the ankle and foot. Multi-purpose. A great gift for a friend with a sling.
