The “hand” is 8″ around with a noticeable “wrist” that allows it to stimulate the inner sphincters in special ways, as well as give it a little extra flex to work its way around inside. The tip is set off-center to allow you to turn the position of the toy and help guide it from the outside.
The shaft stays under 8″ around until about the 19″ mark where it then goes from 8″ up to 10″ just above the base. In order for it to be soft and forgiving, the shaft is indeed quite bendy, so might take some getting used to playing with, but once threaded inside it is designed to find its own way. Notch in the base indicates which side the “hand” is pointed to inside to give you that added level of control.

I trained for depth with the Square Peg Smooth Longneck in the stiffer black silicone. If the Long Longneck was available while training I would have preferred it as the insertable length allows for future progress in depth whereas you can run out of toy on the Smooth Longneck.
The warning about this being an advanced toy is true if the expectation is that you can take the entire thing with no previous stretch training. If you’re sober and careful, this toy can be a great beginner tool for solo training depth. Beginner in this case assumes you can already take a fist to the wrist. Take it slow and you will progress.
