Still have this original orange and black hood ordered in November 2018! Getting a bit stained on the muzzle,, and a few edges are missing a small chunk or two, but boy howdy has it held up amazingly well! Stitching and snaps are still tight... Being an alpha, I don't mosh much, but its gotten PLENTY of other use! These classic hoods are now much less expensive than they were a few years back, but I love the classic style and look enough that I had a custom one made to the old specs...I can't get with the new ears, LOL...prefer the flat ones....

Wow, just wow! I've been wanting a hood for years, but put it off because I thought my measurements were too far off the standard sizing and I couldn't justify the extra cost to do a larger custom hood. Finally got some accurate measurements, took a shot on this $110 hood with my Christmas money and I love it so much! Time will tell if the kinda tight fit is going to be a problem in terms of wear and tear, but wearability wise I love it and it only reinforces my inner pup!

Amazing product! If you’re deciding between medium or large, know that when I purchase the large size, it wouldn’t stay wrapped around my jaw and kept sliding up. I thought this was due to my beard, but when I exchanged for a medium — the problem completely resolved.

Keeps you warm — just as a heads up, you could easily wear this out on a hike and find yourself sweating for more than one reason! Not overly hot or uncomfortable, just something I’ve noticed with it.

I received my hood as a birthday gift, it was the best gift EVER! Beautifully made, soft and comfortable materials, not a wrong stitch and I love the aqua color! It fits like it was made for me, and I just don't want to take it off anymore. It is so comfortable. I can't stop looking in the mirror... I've bought more than a dozen of these hoods in various colors for my pups over the last few years. They are durable, hard wearing, waterproof....perfect for any play setting. The price for these has come down a little since the intro of the newer hoods. My pups have to earn one of those, so it might be a while before i review one. But this hood is a great starter hood, and economical as well.

Wow these things last forever....I finally have had an issue but the hood is forever old first one I bought, and it was my fault it had an issue I didn't wash it between heavy uses. These hoods take all kinds of abuse. Take care of it and it will outlast mine I am ordering a new one I love it so much ....Arf and Bark on

I LOVE this hood. My colors are red and black. I wear my hood all the time around the house, and out in public. Only time I take it off is to go to work. Love going to the nightclub / bar. People want to pet / rub my head and call me a "Good Pupper"
As to be expected, it does get hot in the summer time.

This hood fits snugly, and feels incredible. I'm very new to Puppy play and this definitely helps me get into a different headspace. It muffles your hearing ever so slightly and you can always see the snout protruding out in front of you.

The craftsmanship is incredible and as is the overall look of the product! This hood is a well-designed, well-made piece of gear that can stand up to nights at the club, and is comfortable enough that you can also just wear it around the house all day. One cool detail that the store page doesn't mention: The ears have metal tabs in them so you can bend the ears to suit your mood - straight up, curved down, etc. (definitely go for one up and one down for that extra-adorable look).

You'll look handsome, feel comfortable, and get lots of attention. What more could a pup want?

Love this hood. Fits perfectly, it feels great, looks very sleek. One criticism, because its neoprene it does not travel well. You have to be very careful when packing it because and bend or crease in the neoprene will permanently dent the hood. Just bought mine at MAL, was super careful packing it up (layered it between very soft clothing), and it still got warped when I unpacked it after getting home.

I have a selection of leather pup masks, but this hood is by far my favorite thing to wear. I know the style is super popular (at least the places I go), but now I understand why. First of my puppy play items and I must say the reviews are totally spot on, this hood is fantastic to say the least. It fits very well the material is very soft and easy on the skin. The stitching is amazingly done no faults at all anywhere, the snaps are reinforced (very nice touch) and don't scratch or ich when pressed against my skin. All in all the best item I have bought in years and that's saying allot.
I would easily and most every time recommend this to any who are looking for a alternative to rubber, latex or leather for a hood. #^.^#

I have to say, I was sceptical at first about whether or not I should purchase this hood. I had no idea if it would be something I'd really enjoy... However, when I opened the box and slid it on, all of my scepticism dissipated. I absolutely love it! It's really well-made and such a wonderful asset to Pup life. The only "issue" I have with this is that i wear glasses--maybe I can find ways to get it altered so they fit? Hmm. (But that's more of a me issue, not the hood!) Overall, this is indeed a wonderful investment. Thanks, Mr-S-Leather for making me one happy Pup!

I’ve had this hood for about half a year now and still get extreme comfort from wearing it. It’s super soft and fits very snuggly. Even when I’m not being a pup I sometimes just put it on to lounge in because it feels nice hahah. Only problem I had with my hood is when I first received it, there were some kind of biro marks on the head of the hood. Not sure why, but yeah! Still 5 stars though x)

Don't Want To Take It Off!

This is the first hood I've gotten; in fact that first puppy play specific gear I've ever purchased. Before this, my handler and I have only had collars, leashes, a harness, which certainly helped me in pup space but this hood just unlocks a different energy in me! The moment I put it on and looked in the mirror, it looked right. It feels right too! It used to be I could fall out of head space so easily with just a collar alone; but this hood almost locks me into puppy mode! I didn't really understand seeing other pups wearing them and hearing that they helped so well with their play; but now I understand and I'm excited about it!
It fits perfectly, it's soft and form fitting! I definitely recommend for all puppies, old and new. It's flexible and feels like a second skin. It's fast to slip on, you don't have to deal with zippers or laces. I tend to roughhouse a lot so it's safer for me with the lack of buckles and bulkiness, to just tackle other pups and not have to worry that my gear might hurt them or myself. The muzzle does come off, but I tend to just lift the muzzle up for food or drink so I don't have to take the hood off to snap or unsnap.
If you're looking for something to enhance your play or to better unlock that energy, I definitely recommend the hoods to you!

Let me start with how amazing it feels to have your tail in, harness on, collar locked, and to complete your pup space with the hood. Grr. This came as a surprise from my BF, and it is one of the best gifts ever. I was a little worried it would not fit since I am a very big pup (6'4" GIANT head). But, although it was snug it fit great. Love the flexibility of the neoprene. This pup loved getting his bone ;). The material rinses off nicely and drys quickly after getting wet.

Love this comfortable hood. Slip it on and shift to pup mode. Well designed, well stitched and finished with Mr S buttons. Light weight for travel. If pup likes water or water sports this is the answer as it is easy to care for. Tip from sales staff who helped me: gets some latex balloons on which to store or dry on.
